They were knit cuff down.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Yarn : 1 ball Elann Esprit in Incan Clay. I was left with 20" of yarn!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Needles : 3 mm DPNs&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Techniques learned : Turning a heel, short rows, grafting.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;I knit them around 4 to 6 weeks ago. Since then, I've been brave enough to wear them ; ) Knitting socks was something I was looking forward to since I started kniting a year and a half ago. Anklets in a non-sock weight yarn were a perfect first sock project. You get to the challenging parts quickly. I made the second sock a little smaller than the first because the first one turned out a little too loose. So the yarn didn't pattern the same way but I really don't mind.
